The studio in question has opened in Montreal, Canada in North America and, according to Dontnod itself, this second branch will “complete” the original team based in Paris. Dontnod also stated that this new studio will allow it to be closer with its main audience.

Apparently, the American studio will be working on a brand new project, but Dontnod didn’t provide any further details, so it’s not known if it will be another Life is Strange title or something completely different.

While Life is Strange 2 reached its conclusion at the end of last year, the first game’s narrative has continued in comic form, detailing the ramifications of one of the game’s endings.

As for Tell Me Why, which will focus around a pair of twins, one of whom is transgender, it’s still scheduled to release as three episodes throughout 2020, and will be exclusive to Microsoft Windows and PC, with currently no word on if it will see release on other platforms like the PlayStation 4.
