It seems Lenovo has learnt the pulse of the market. The second-largest PC manufacturer after Hewlett-Packard Co. introduced a new and better version of its Thinkpad on Wednesday in Beijing. The latest offering from Lenovo will appeal to the ones fond of Smartphones and Tablets. Called ThinkPad X1 Carbon, this sleek and savvy notebook will hit the shelves next month. The latest ThinkPad has third-generation wireless connectivity and other features inspired by tablets and smartphones, said ThinkPad business unit vice president Dilip Bhatia....

There is no concrete information available whether the rumored Lenovo Yoga tablet will be equipped with either Windows or Android, but some hints are available in this regards. As Liliputing points out that Lenovo’s Yoga devices with Windows on board will sport built-in keyboards, while the Android models will not. The news regarding the Lenovo Yoga 2 10 is made available from an FCC listing for a Bluetooth keyboard. A Bluetooth keyboard is not a necessary thing for a device that is equipped with a built-in keyboard, and it can be assumed that the Lenovo’s next Yoga tablet will run Android....

Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has suggested the Bundesliga champions could take legal action after a report in Der Spiegel alleged he and his club attempted to lead some of Europe’s leading clubs into a breakaway competition. The German magazine’s allegation is based on documents it claims to have attained from whistleblowers ‘Football Leaks’. Both Bayern and Rummenigge issued a strenuous denial on Friday. Der Spiegel named Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool among 11 clubs Bayern were purportedly hoping to lead away for the competition, the staging of which would present obvious problems for both the Champions League and domestic top-fight leagues in their current guises....
